2025 has been a mild progressive year. We are blessed that our packaging business across all industries has remained steady despite the noticeable shifts in retail preferences and consumer value in experiences. Our trade fairs have performed strongly again this year, showing Hong Kong’s unique position as a world-class business hub and meeting hub for the Greater Bay Area.

Further committing to our ESG goals, New Island has proudly supported Earth Hour in March 2025. Our global offices and manufacturing sites have all committed to energy saving and lights out. We have also actively encouraged our staff to also commit to the same in their personal living spaces. For our first year, we achieved more than 35% of our global office staff signing the Earth Hour pledge as a sign of their commitment. We believe this is a very good start, given that our offices had less than a week’s notice to put this in action. For the coming year, we are very confident to achieve higher in our ESG goals and reduce environmental impact.

This year, New Island has participated in its second trade fair in Dubai to reach the Middle Eastern market. We have designed some new packaging construction for the event and received positive feedback from customers visiting our exhibition stand. We have made sound connections and are expecting to have a stronger presence in this market soon.
