New Island is recognized as Hong Kong Green Organisation

Dongguan New Island Printing Co., Ltd. is recognized as a certified Hong Kong Green Organisation. New Island Printing has joined this program since 2024 as part of our ESG initiative. The company is proud to have made this achievement and will continue to manage our business ethically to reduce environmental impact and carbon footprint throughout the entire business cycle.

The Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification (HKGOC) led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environment and Ecology Bureau and in conjunction with the following nine organisations:

• The Advisory Council on the Environment
• The Business Environment Council
• The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce
• The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong
• The Federation of Hong Kong Industries
• The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association
• The Hong Kong Council of Social Service
• The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce
• The Hong Kong Productivity Council

The Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification (HKGOC) aims to benchmark organisations in green management, to encourage participating organisations to adopt environmental practices in different aspects and to recognise their efforts in and commitments to the environment.

Participating companies may obtain the title of “Hong Kong Green Organisation” if they demonstrate achievements in multiple environmental aspects including:

• commitment to and efforts in environmental protection through waste reduction and/or recycling
• commitment to and efforts in environmental protection through energy conservation
• commitment to and efforts in environmental protection through improving indoor air quality (IAQ)
• commitment to and efforts in environmental protection through carbon reduction.
